127 years of National Geographic in Milan

Until 14 Feb. National Geographic exhibition extended.

An exhibit of 150 selected photographs from the prestigious National Geographic Magazine has been extended and will now run until 14 February in Milan’s Natural History Museum.

Founded in 1888, the National Geographic Society has a mission of scientific exploration of the world surrounding us, and of sharing its discoveries with the public through the pages of its magazine.

During these 127 years, the society has promoted memorable activities, from the discovery of Machu Picchu in Peru to the recent exploration of the ocean bed in the Ariana Trench by James Cameron.

The exhibition includes inspiring photographs from the foundation of the society up to the present day.
