13-15 March 2009. This fair hosts 50 specialist booksellers from Europe and the United States. The most important items on show in this 50th edition of the fair are the Index Librorum Prohibitorium, the list of books banned by the Catholic Church, which was first published in Venice in 1564, a handbook for Inquisitors, published in Cologne in 1494, the first illustrated edition of De Architectura by Vitruvio, dating back to 1511 and the original project for Teatro alla Scala by Piermarini from 1789. There are scientific and literary works, books for children, as well as incunabula from the late 15th century and the illuminated manuscripts.
