Concert for World Autism Day

By the Orchestra AllegroModerato

Milan will mark the eighth UN World Autism Awareness Day with a free concert by the Orchestra AllegroModerato, including young musicians suffering from autism.

Mussorgsky, Elgar, Dvorak, Beethoven and Verdi are in the programme which will close a day dedicated to the awareness of autism, which affects over 500,000 families in Italy alone.

The theatre building will be lit throughout the day in blue, the conventional colour for autism awareness, and will host discussions and round tables on the issue.
