Duran Duran live in Milan

Closing their 2016 Italy tour.

Leading symbol of British new wave and synth-pop, Duran Duran will close their Italy tour in Sunday 12 June in Milan with a gig at the Assago Summer Arena.

The programme will include several of their all-time favourites such as The wild boys, Save a prayer, The reflex, Ordinary world, Rio and Notorius, and will present their latest album, Paper Gods.

After several changes to their personnel, the current lineup is Simon Le Bon (vocals), John Taylor (bass), Nick Rhodes (keyboards) and Roger Taylor (drums).

With their sharp and elegant image, the Birmingham-based group has won a number of awards throughout their career: two Brit Awards – including the 2004 award for Outstanding Contribution to Music – two Grammy Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award for lifetime achievement, as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They have sold over 70 million records,

The band took their name from a character in Roger Vadim’s 1968 sci-fi movie Barbarella.
