Introduced by science teachers.
Milan’s Politecnico University will screen a series of four movies on scientific themes, introduced and commented by teachers, on four Tuesdays in July.
In the “cinema under the stars” outdoor film series, each film will be explained in advance by one of the university’s teachers in the subject matter of the movie.
First in the series on 4 July is Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, with Leonardo Di Caprio, introduced by Lorenzo Trainelli, teacher at the university’s Aircraft and Flight Experimentation project.
It will be followed on 11 July by Eugene Green’s La Sapienza, commented by architecture teacher Roberto Dulio.
Next on 18 July will follow Bennett Miller’s L’Arte del Vincere with Brad Pitt, and an introduction by Roberto Lucchetti from the Mathematical Analysis department.
The final movie in the series is Matteo Rovere’s Veloce come il Vento, starring Stefano Accorsi. The introduction this time is by Stefano Melzi, teacher at the PoliMi Dynamics of Aerospatial Systems and Vehicle Mechanics department.
Entrance is free, at 21.00 in Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci.
