Modigliani and the Artists of Montparnasse

Palazzo Reale pays homage to a generation of international artists and intellectuals, who lived and worked in the lively Parisian neighbourhood of Montparnasse at the beginning of the 20th century.

Among the artists were Amedeo Modigliani, Chaïm Soutine, Marc Chagall, Kandiskij, Man Ray and Ernest Hemingway, whose masterpieces currently belong to the private collection of the French patron Jonas Netter. The main protagonist of this exhibition is the Italian painter Modigliani and his famous Elvire au col blanc, Fillette en robe jaune and Portrait de Zborowski.
