Six Street Artists at Palazzo Marino

14-31 January 2012. After Georges de La Tours’ exhibition, six street artists belonging to different movements, such as Ivan, Pao, Nais, Tawa, TvBoy and Seacreative, have used the Sala Alessi at Palazzo Marino to paint on the night of 9 January a large movable wall. This wall has been subsequently transported to Spazio Underground in Romolo, a neighbourhood located in the south of Milan, where it is currently on display. The artists’ intention is that the wall connects and unites the day with the night, the centre with the suburbs.

This initiative, entitled Author’s Exchange, aims to combine artists from the past with more modern and contemporary ones, has been promoted by Eni, the city and the cultural associations Art Kitchen and Aleart. The artists’ performance has been recorded live and put online on the website www.lucisullarte.it.

Daily 10.00-19.00.
