Tribute to Gae Aulenti

Triennale Design Museum pays homage to Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) with this retrospective that retraces the brilliant career of this Lady of Italian architecture. Aulenti has been an elegant, ironical and reserved interpreter of the creativity and design of Made in Italy. Among the most famous works by Aulenti are the redesign of the Museo d’Orsay in Paris 1980-1986, Palazzo Grassi in Venice 1986, le ex-Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome 1999, Piazzale Cadorna in Milan in 2000 and the restructuration of the Estense Castle in Ferrara 2003. as well as small tables and lamps, designed for prestigious brands, such as MartinelliLuce and FontanaArte.
