27 October 2009. Museo di Storia Contemporanea celebrates World Audiovisual Heritage Day organized by UNESCO. The event opens with a roundtable discussion on how to make audiovisual heritage accessible to all through common experiences and projects (14.30-16.30). This will be followed by movie screenings accompanied by music and lectures. Special guests include photographer Cesare Colombo and movie director Elvio Annese, while Monica Rossi will introduce her project Digital Stories focusing on the creation of a social network related to the auidiovisual heritage and amateur films and pictures from the last century. Some of the home movies on show come from the Civic Historical Collections of Milan
