Day against violence against women

Milan will mark the UN Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on Monday 25 November with a series of events – plays, discussions, lectures, round tables – lasting until 4 December.

On Monday, entry is free as long as seats are available for the play VioleperEnza at 20.30 in the Sala Otto Colonne of the royal palace. Before that, a photo exhibition and flash mob called Basta will run in Piazza Scala from 08.00 to 20.00.

The Cinema Anteo in Via Milazzo will screen Philip Gröning’s 2013 film The Policeman’s Wife at 10.00. A full programme of the events is available on this page of the city hall website.
