It's snowing reindeer!

Under this cheerful slogan, the Zac! market of biological and sustainable, ethical and seasonal food products at marked-down prices will be held in Parco Bassi, Via Livigno 7 on Saturday 1 December.

Open from 09.00 to 16.00, this is the third edition of the farmers’ market organised by the GAS, Gruppo d’acquisto solidale – a volunteer organisation which organises large-scale buying to bring prices down.  Farmers from Milan and its hinterland will be offering products at prices calculated to debunk the myth that biological foods are more expensive.

Each stand will display an “identity card” listing the farmer’s location, type of production, certificates awarded, the breakdown of the end price, and other details of which the farmer is particularly proud.

Zac! market will be rounded off with play and learning areas for kinds, a concert of folk music and other entertainment. More details on their Facebook page.
