Hundreds of items left in Malpensa airport
Friday 13 promises to be a lucky date for those prepared to dice with chance at the auction of lost or abandoned items at Milan’s Malpensa airport. Starting at 09.30 in Terminal 2 departures, the objects will include sunglasses, reading glasses, dozens of watches, scores of smart-phones and cameras, notebooks, clothes, hats, musical instruments and a mountain bike. Hundreds of suitcases, a chip fryer, a Dolby surround sound kit and a lot composed entirely of articles in gold or silver will complete the offer, along with a pressure cooker and a 20-plate dinner service.
A photo gallery of the items on sale has been published on this page of the Malpensa News website, and this list of lots has been provided by the Judical Sales authority. A note by the authority managing the auction warns that whoever bids successfully for computers, phones and cameras is required by law to delete all personal information they contain.
