Milan fair foundation seeks extras

For movie “Milan 2015 Nice to Meet You”

Want to be an actor in a film about Milan? The Milano Fiera foundation, organisers of trade fairs in the city and in particular of Expo 2015, is looking for would-be actors for a movie to promote the world exhibition in South America.

On Friday 6 June, the production team will be casting for extras in a film made up of “a series of flashes to shine on the city’s most characteristic places and to light up the faces of people who can tell the story of Milan in a word.” Milan 2015 Nice to Meet You will introduce the city through the places and faces a visitor can meet during a long walk through the city. The cast will be Milanesi and everyone else who lives and animates the town.

Sponsored by the Lombardy regional government and Milan city hall, the promo is going to be shown in South America to encourage business visitors to come to next year’s Expo 2015.

The appointment is on Friday 6 June at the newly-opened Eataly Smeralda in Piazza XXV Aprile, from 16.30 to 22.30. Aspiring actors will need to register first on the event website, where they can print off and fill in the release note to permit the use of their image in the movie.
