Four days of fashion photography and more in Milan.
Fashion photography from the masters to new talents will be the focus of Vogue’s four-day Photo Festival in Milan from 16 to 19 November.
But the festival does not stop at fashion: exhibitions and talks will cover human nature and strange weather, the future of documentary photography in the 21st century, from Lenin’s April Theses to the Russian east, the ballad of sexual dependency and much more.
Photography fans can enjoy conversations with experts such as James Estrin of The New York Times or David Campbell of World Press Photo, or the screening of Don’t blink by Robert Blank, who revolutionised the concept of photo-journalism.
Events – many of them in English – will be open free to the public as long as places are available.
A detailed programme is on the festival website.
