Milan opens on-line Lost & Found

Report your loss by email.

Got home and found your wallet missing? Milan’s city hall has opened an on-line Lost & Found office where you can report the loss by email – even in English.

From bags to bikes, books to bracelets, all through the alphabet to wallets and watches, you can report missing objects with the on-line form. And there’s a free-text field for where you think you might have lost it.

If the missing property has been found and handed in, you’ll get an email from the city administration telling you how to go and claim it.

Found objects handed in by helpful members of the public are sent to the municipal police Lost & Found office in Via Friuli 30, just a few steps from Milan’s central Duomo, or cathedral.
