Palazzo Reale is getting ready to host a mayor exhibition by Pablo Picasso, entitled Masterpieces from the National Museum Picasso of Paris, which will open on 20 September and run until 6 January 2013.
This event will mark the return of Picasso to Milan after 59 years with over 250 masterpieces on display, including paintings, sculptures, drawings and photographs.
Over 65,000 tickets have been booked in advance for September by about three thousand groups of visitors. This phenomenon proves the interest and passion of the public for the Spanish genius.
This exhibition will be cured by Anne Baldassari, one of the most important worldwide scholars of Picasso, who cures the Musée National Picasso of Paris, which houses the greatest global collection of works by the Spanish artist.
