Milan’s BikeMi continues night-time service

Night-time bike sharing is to continue in Milan until the end of  September after its success in June and July. The service is operational all night on Fridays and Saturdays and from Sundays to Thursday until 02.00.

About 7,500 people used the service in June and 8,600 in July. Wednesdays, Thursday and Fridays were the most popular evenings.

The bike-sharing service in Milan is run by BikeMi, which has 141 bike-sharing posts around the city and plans to install 40 more before the end of the year.

BikeMi has 15,000 annual subscribers for its 2,370 distinctive orange and cream bikes, its main users are men and the average age is 41.
