Trenord adds special trains, offers F1 package.
Trenord, the Milan-based regional rail network, has announced 12 extra non-stop trains from Milan Centrale to Biassono Lesmo, close to Gate D, for next weekend’s Formula 1 race in Monza on 3 September.
The 20-minute runs will start at 07.00 and continue until 12.00, while the return journey to Milan will run from 15.40 to 18.45, with an intermediate stop in Monza itself.
A special race-day return will cost only €5. Additionally, a Trenord day pass valid from any station in Lombardy for one adult and a junior up to age 13 will cost €13, good for any Trenord service except the Malpensa airport express. The day pass is also available for the warm-up races on 1 and 2 September.
And as long as the day pass is bought on the Trenord e-store, it will also entitle the holder to a 30 per cent discount on the entrance fee for the Monza race-track.
