Summer activities for all in Milan

City hall publishes guide to free time events.

One of Europe’s most vibrant and cultured cities, Milan offers a vast range of free time activities at every time of year.  And especially in summer, when friends and family are often in the mountains or on the beach and we have no urgent plans, it isn’t hard to find new activities to explore.

Milan offers everything from museums to water-sport, from open-air rock concerts to open-air cinema, kids’ educational games to art exhibitions, street markets and street food and much, much more.

City hall has now put together a detailed calendar of suggestions for activities (and of course also less active events for those who prefer to be lazy) to enjoy as the summer warms up. Divided into handy categories to explore whatever you fancy doing this week (or next), the calendar also includes a section on the local programme in your municipio or borough, with events at your doorstep, to be updated as soon as new events are planned.

Check out the Milano Estate page and browse the categories exhibitions, music, theatre and dance, fashion and design, sport, fairs and congresses, kids and family, cinema, libraries, local community events and more.
