UK-Italy Business Awards

Ceremony in Milan

In a ceremony in Milan’s stock exchange headquarters in Palazzo Mezzanotte, the winners of the eighth UK-Italy Business Awards will be announced on Thursday 22 January.

Each year, the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) agency assigns prestigious prizes to Italian companies which have chosen the United Kingdom as a location for their expansion. The award categories include long term investor, financial services, market entrant, industrial investment, brand recognition, green economy, digital industries, creative industries, élite, engineering, best innovative budget, innovation, special EXPO and “Music is GREAT”.

Personalities from Italy’s business, cultural and artistic worlds will attend the gala event, invited by UK Ambassador Christopher Prentice, Consul General Tim Flear, UKTI Chair Dominic Jermey and Italian Bourse chair Raffaele Jerusalmi.

The award ceremony will also be an occasion to present the programme of the British pavilion at Expo 2015.

UKTI is the government agency which helps companies registered in the United Kingdon – as well as foreign companies interested in relocating there – with a network of business specialists to provide guidance and practical assistance.
