8 Nov-14 Dec 2008. The fourth edition of the exhibition dedicated to the ancient Russian iconography takes place in the historic setting of the church and convent of S. Angelo . On display are various original icons from the 16th to the 20th century, from the Orler Collection, the largest private collection outside Russia. These icons were handmade according to a ancient tradition and were destined for private homes and domestic prayers. On Sat 22 Nov and Sat 6 Dec it is also possible to have a guided tour with the expert Sania Gukova.
