2 February-5 April 2012. Photology displays this exhibition by the young Finnish photographer Anni Leppälä.
On display is the series She Resembles, which immortalizes the Mediterranean and Sicilian landscape in a Nordic, visionary style. This talented artist takes mysterious and ambiguous shots of female figures hidden by covered faces and surrounded by quiet interiors.
Her images, inspired by Scandinavian fairy tales, populated by imps, elves and fairies by the pointed ears, evoke distant worlds. In her works traditional fables converse with social problems.
