27 Feb. The romance of the lute.
Young musicians from the baroque orchestra of the Milan Civic School of Music will perform baroque pieces by Kohaut, Ruge, Hasse and Durant under the baton of Paul Beier in the Sala della Balla of Milan’s central Castello Sforzesco on Saturday 27 February.
A small group from the school’s orchestra, which usually numbers between 15 and 30 instrumentalists, will offer the concert in the series of musical encounters at the castle, to continue until the end of May.
The school is staffed by specialised teachers, and is frequently visited by famous visiting conductors, giving the students the opportunity to perform with international professionals.
The concert begins at 16.00.
