Over 100 works by 60 international artists
The fourth edition of BAG – the Bocconi Art Gallery festival by Milan’s Bocconi University – opens on 27 May at 18.00 with free guided visits to the installations and exhibits in the university, and from 20.00 with a live jazz concert by Paolo Alderighi and the Bocconi Jazz Business Unit.
A rainbow of contemporary artworks will includes the neon colours of Steven Scott and Jonathan Monk, works in paper by Ettore Spalletti, in metal by Gerold Miller and in wood by Giorgio Rastelli, conceptual works by Lucio Fontana, Piero Manzoni, Dadamaino, Grazia Varisco and photos by Zhang Huan.
Works will be displayed throughout the Bocconi campus, from the historic main building in Via Sarfatti to the Grafton building in Via Roentgen.
The festival will also host the Umani a Milano (Humans in Milan) project, a storytelling blog by Stefano D’Andrea, loosely based on the popular Humans of New York website.
