1 February-30 April 2012. Galleria 70 hosts this exhibition, entitled Bones and Masks, which offers a comparison and confrontation between works of nature and human works. On show are a series of shots of skeleton and skulls taken by the French photographer Dominique Laugé at the natural history museums of Gaillac and Turin, displayed along with five archeological finds of animal skulls and ancient wood masks from Gabon. This unusual exhibition compares archeological findings and original portraits and underlines the similarity between the variety of forms in nature and the sculptures by African artists.
Tue-Sat 10.00-13.30, 16.00-19.30.
