26 October-7 November 2010. At Teatro della Luna is staged a modern and innovative Italian re-working of the historical musical Cats composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber and based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. In this version this musical, which first opened in 1981, tells about the relationship between human and animal world, made of 25 cats, the Jellicles. Cats won numerous awards, including both the Laurence Olivier Award and the Tony Award for Best Musical, and it is the second longest-running show in Broadway history.
