Chocolate reigns on Milano’s Navigli

11-18 Dec. A week dedicated to natural craft production.

Chocolate lovers of all ages will gather at the Naviglio Pavese until Sunday 18 December to explore the world of craftsman made chocolate without additives.

Beyond the all-important opportunities to taste the various specialties, visitors can learn how the product is grown, harvested and processed. Kids will be able to join in Choco Play and become craftsmen, and all visitors can watch master sculptor Stefano Comelli create edible artworks.

Puppet shows, live music and healthy snacks will complete the festival programme.

Organised by Choco Amore, the national association of chocolate artisans, the festival aims to promote the craft product made with only the purest ingredients, and the preservation of the art handed down in families for generations.

Restaurants and pubs around the Darsena will pick up the theme, adding chocolate-based dishes and drinks to their menu throughout the week.

Festa del Cioccolato Christmas Edition is open daily on the Alzaia Naviglio Pavese between Via Magolfa and Via Gola, from 10.00 until late evening.
