Chocolate Salon comes to Milan

13-15 Feb. Three days of bliss for chocolate lovers.

Born in Paris 20 years ago, and now finally also in Milan, the Salon du Chocolat is expecting 18,000 visitors this weekend, from Saturday to Monday, 13 to 15 February.

After presenting 165 shows in 30 cities across four continents to 6.5m visitors, the organisers have decided that in Italy’s capital of fashion, design and food, only one element was missing – chocolate.

The meeting point for artists, chefs and pâtissiers will concentrate on the healthy properties of the “food of the gods” with demonstrations, show cooking, workshops, kids’ games and, of course, tastings.

While Saturday will be open to all, Sunday will naturally – on St Valentine’s day – concentrate on events and surprises for couples, while on Monday professionals, buyers and vocational schools will enjoy special attention.

Some 50 exhibitors will be present in the 5,000 sqm exhibition space in the Porta Nuova Varesina mall near Repubblica metro station.
