In aid of the Italian National Trust
L’Orchestre Nationale de France will play a gala concert at Milan’s opera house Teatro alla Scala on Sunday 12 October to raise funds for FAI. the Italian National Trust.
Sponsored by Deutsche Bank, and with the patronage of Milan’s comune and province and the Lombardy region, the concert will present conductor Daniele Gatti leading the symphony orchestra based at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, which is invited every year to play in a prestigious concert hall around the world.
Sunday’s programme will include Stravinsky’s Petrushka, and Richard Strauss’s symphonic poem Don Juan and his suite from Der Rosenkavalier.
Tickets for FAI members range from €250 to €60, and for non-members from €280 to €70, while under-26s pay €150 to €45.
