In the courtyard of Palazzo Reale
Seven concerts will accompany seven films in the summer programme promoted by the foundation I Pomeriggi Musicali.
Starting on Friday 18 July at 20.30, the concerts will continue until 16 October, each one offering music chosen to match the film to follow. This Friday’s programme includes Haydn’s Divertimento in C major Perger 8, his concerto for violin and string orchestra, and the Serenade for Strings no. 3 by J J Fuchs. Soloist Alessandro Braga will be accompanied by the String Ensemble of the Pomeriggi Musicali.
The concert will be followed by Pawel Pawlikowski’s film Ida. Tickets will be available for either the concert and the film, or the concert only. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held in the Teatro Dal Verme.
