15 June. Live music at Milan’s Pinacoteca di Brera.
Three hours of music in the unique setting of the Pinacoteca di Brera galley in the heart of Milan.
Thanks to the collaboration of the British pianist Clive Britton, the gallery will celebrate the dialogue between the arts and between the musicians and the public, with an extraordinary night with live music performed in the rooms of the Pinacoteca.
The unique collection and the recently reorganized rooms with new colors, new lighting and new captions will host music by Henze, de Falla, Caccini, Kapsberger, Frescobaldi, Piccinini, Monteverdi, Telemann, Stravinsky, Messiaen and Berio.
The musical performances are by the young musicians of the “Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado”. During the concerts, visitors can also admire “New Perspectives on the 18th Century: Pompeo Batoni and Milan”, the fifth dialogue of the Pinacoteca.
The concerts will be performed from 18.00 to 22.15 (ticket office closes 21.40); entry costs €3.
