17 April-17 May 2012. Triennale Design Museum celebrates the creativity of three masters of Italian designers: De Pas, D’Urbino and Lomazzi with a selection of iconic pieces. On display are among the others the Joe chair by Poltronova from 1970, which reproduces a baseball glove and pays tribute to Joe di Maggio, the Shanghai hanger from 1979, the Blow chair by Zanotta from 1967, the modular Brick library by Longato from 1971 and the Scacciapensieri Armchair from 1976 produced by Poltronova.
In 1966 they founded their studio, which gave birth to great urban, architectural and design projects as well as objects, fittings and interior furnishings. They distinguished themselves for their works, characterized by a pop matrix combined with a unique grace, elegance and sense of measure, worthy the best Lombard classicism. Their creations are currently displayed at the museum’s major design collections throughout the world.
