13 March-2 June. After Berlin, Palazzo Reale hosts this travelling exhibition, which pays homage to the idea of freedom in European art from the 1940s to present times.
On display are 100 works by contemporary artists from 25 countries, who examine the topics of reason, utopia, consumerism, force, sustainability and self-knowledge.
Among the artists are Ian Hamilton Finlay, Fernand Léger, Damien Hirst, Armando, Tadeusz Kantor, Richard Hamilton, Boris Mikhailov, Oskar Rabin, Niki de Saint Phalle, Gerhard Richter, Aurora Reinhard, Christo, Arman, Mario Merz, Jordi Colomer, Raul Meel, Maria Lassnig, Eric Bulatov and Carlfriedrich Claus, who provoke the visitores refeltion on the way we lead our own lives.
