17-19 June: Free activities for all over the weekend.
The EXPerience Park in the grounds of last year’s Expo Milan 2015 will be open free 17-19 June from 14.00 to 23.00 with a range of activities for old and young.
ArtEXPerience! shows street art with Christian Blef, Enko4 and many more national and international artists for the next three weekends.
The “City after city” exhibit, part of the XXI Triennale offers six independent but closely connected exhibitions: Landscape Urbanism, Urban Orchard, Expanded Housing, People in Motion, Street Art and, in the form of a parterre between the two pavilions, a Planetary Garden.
Matches in the UEFA European tournament will be shown on giant screens, starting Friday afternoon with Italy vs. Sweden at 15.00, Czech Republic vs. Croatia at 18.00 and Spain vs. Turkey at 21.00. Saturday will see Belgium play Ireland at 15.00, Iceland vs. Hungary at 18.00 and Portugal vs. Austria at 21.00. On Monday, Rumania plays Albania and Switzerland plays France at 21.00; organisers have not yet announced which of these last two will be shown.
The La Scala Academy will propose a ballet lesson with Vera Karpenko and Paolo Podini showing choreographies from Gottschalk’s Grande Tarantelle and Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin.
The cardo (main street) will be thronged with street-food booths and gazebos. And on Saturday and Sunday, the Children’s Park will open from 15.30 to 19.30 with kids’ activities and games, including the Triulza Culture Festival, dedicated this week to Sri Lanka.
