27 Nov 2008-7 Feb 2009. This monographic exhibition pays tribute to Giuseppe Capogrossi (1900-1972), a master of abstraction. On display are 25 non-figurative paintings by the Rome artist from 1947 to the early 1970s, which reflect the different phases of his production. In 1949 Capogrossi became, together with Burri, Ballocco and Colla, a member of the artistic group Origine, which used linear graphic motifs and simple geometrical figures. Capogrossi invented an original comb motif, which characterised all his later works. Among the exhibition
