Homage to the Erasmus Project

26 June-26 July 2012. On the 25th anniversary of the Erasmus (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) Project, The Erasmus Office of the Brera Academy presents this collective exhibition, entitled Incontrarsi/Conoscersi : Tra Identità e Senso di Appartenenza all’Europa (Meeting/Knowing Each Other: Between Identity and Sense of Belonging to Europe).

It focuses on the spiritual and intellectual experience shared by people who have participated in the Erasmus project, as well as their strong sense of belonging to the European Community.

On display are the works by some teachers of the Brera Academy, who contributed to the achievement of the Erasmus project in Italy, such as Valerio Ambiveri, Nino Bacco, Italo Bressan, Giovanni Bruno, Pier Luigi Buglioni, Italo Chiodi, Gaetano Fanelli, Vittorio Corsini, Renato Galbusera, Maria Cristina Galli, Bernardino Luino, Gastone Mariani, Franco Marrocco, Barbara Nahmad, Sergio Nannicola, Angela Occhipinti, Massimo Pellegrinetti, Marco Pellizzola, Stefano Pizzi, Roberto Rocchi, Beppe Sabatino, Nicola Salvatore and Tiziana Tacconi.

On display are also the works by some Italian students, who took part to the Erasmus project abroad, and by foreign students, who studied in Italy within the Erasmus scheme, including Davide Abbati, BIBA, Bios Vincent, Bracchi Monnalisa, Samuela Coffetti, Giulia De Marinis, Caterina De Nicola, Kim Diamond, Enzima21, Pietro Ferri, Ottavia Fiameni, Pauline Genty, Gaia Gianardi, Anastasia Gurova, Chiara Lamperti, Federico Montesano, Giulio Pace, Federica Pamio, Valentina Pasta, Ludovica Quaranta, Federico Rizzo, Giulia Simonetti and Giuliana Storino.
