Palazzo Reale hosts the exhibition "La Domenica del Corriere. Il '900 illustrato". The exhibition relates the history of Italian illustrations in the 20th century.

Illustration was an artistic genre and inspired many excellent artists, who left an important mark in the minds of many generations of Italians.

Giovanna Ginex, the curator of the exhibition, had access to the historic archives of the Corriere della Sera, which hosts a collection of over 100.000 drawings. The bulk of this collection are the drawings of the weekly magazine "La Domenica del Corriere", which from 1899 to 1989 published exceptional work by famous artists such as Achille Beltrame, Walter Molino, Giorgio De Gaspari and Mario Uggeri.

Over 370 original drawings were selected for the event as well as drafts, sketches, tiny cartoons, etc. This exhibition offers the visitors the chance to discover a piece of Italy's past and recent history and to underline the role that "La Domenica del Corriere" played in the history of Italian journalism and customs.
