17 Apr-20 May 2009. To coincide with the Salone del Mobile this exhibition displays works by international artists who interpret domestic environments and daily life with objects, pieces of furniture and carpets. Among the artists is the American Barbara Bloom who presents two installations where the link between carpet and photographic image is a continuous and intriguing play of cross-references. Jessica Stockholder assembles colours, objects and geometrical figures to create a carpet which is the two dimensional version of her sculptures. The Croatian artist Igor Eskinja creates everyday objects with cheap elements such as dust, adhesive tape and cardboard. Flavio Favelli reassembles old and collected objects full of memory and transforms them into new works. Michael Fliri
