Lombardia Beer Fest back for 3rd edition

22-25 Mar. Craft beer and street food festival in Milan.

Four days dedicated to craft beer made in Lombardy, with 15 local breweries vying for prizes in Milan’s Piazza Città di Lombardia.

Enthusiasts can sign up for free workshops on various aspects of brewing: “agricultural beer”, spontaneous fermentation, and the route from the field to the glass.  And on the final evening, Sunday 25 March, visitors will vote for the best beer of the festival.

Seven food trucks will provide the necessary accompaniment to the brews, and selected bands will provide the sound-track.

Entry is free but visitors should buy a souvenir mug in polycarbonate, decorated with the festival logo, to enjoy the tastings. (Mugs from previous editions are accepted.)  The festival is held in the open air, but under a weatherproof canopy.

The festival is open on Thursday from 17.00 to 01.00, on Friday and Saturday from 12.00 to 01.00 and on Sunday from 12.00 to 24.00.
