Lombardia Beer Fest returns in Milan

28-31 March. Milan hosts festival for beer fans.

Italy’s growing love affair with craft beers will draw fans from all Lombardy for the fifth festival of its kind in Milan’s Piazza Città di Lombardia, Europe’s largest covered piazza near Gioia M2 metro station, from 28 to 31 March.

Entry is free, and visitors can pick up a €5 souvenir beer mug with the festival logo and level markers for the two standard portions offered at the stands. The mug will be valid for future editions, and if you have one from a previous edition, bring it along.

Speciality craft brewers from all across Italy will offer their local variations, and food trucks will tempt visitors with selected street food.

Master brewers will hold free courses on the craft which is attracting ever more Italians to try their hand at creating their own brew. Participation will be limited to the first 30 requests for each class.  Details of the courses available are on the festival website.

Opening hours are on Thursday 18.00 to 01.00, Friday and Saturday 12.00 to 01.00 and on Sunday 12.00 to 24.00. There is a car park with festival convention in nearby Via Francesco Restelli 3.
