20 June-7 Sept 2008. Forma displays Urban Europe by the Italian photographer of architecture Marco Zanta. The artist carries out an in-depth analysis of various architectural projects in the European urban centres from 1994 to 2004, which became symbols of contemporary cities. The buildings represent a composite landscape, but convey a unique European identity. This series is the outcome of a journey taken by Zanta through Europe from 2000 to 2004 in order to define the concept of modern city-Europe.
Zanta has worked in Europe, the United States and Japan, teaches history and the techniques of photography and has held seminars and workshops at the universities of Venice, Bologna and Trieste.
