9 April-1 May. To coincide with the Salone del Mobile, Triennale pays homage to the brilliant career of a master Made in Italy, Massimo Iosa Ghini, considered one of the most eclectic and creative Italian architects and designers.
This exhibition traces his 30-year career, starting from his debut in the world of Comics to the design of his first sofa, the Poltrona Numero Uno, created with Moroso, to his collaboration with Alitalia and Ferrari, to some more recent projects of environmental sustainability. Iosa Ghini was among the founders of the Bolidism group and collaborated with the Memphis group, founded by Ettore Sottsass. Throughout his career he has been primarily committed to the design of architecture, cultural and commercial installations and store chains.
