28-30 Oct. 12th edition of national jewellery exhibition.
A showcase of Italian gold-working firms, the exhibit aims to promote the quality craftsmanship of Italian goldsmiths, their imagination and their creativity.
The event gleams with precious stones, sparkles with emeralds and lapis lazuli, glitters with rubies, coral, sapphires, moonstones and freshwater pearls in rings, necklaces and earrings.
But the exhibit is not only a static display of finished pieces: live demonstrations of the creation of jewellery and videos will show every phase of the realisation of a product, so that a visitor can follow the process in person and buy a unique jewel.
The exhibit will also host a competition for unique works created on the theme of Italy and Japan to mark the 150th anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship between the two countries, signed in 1866.
Masters of the Jewel is promoted by the Iperbole Association for Culture and Art and sponsored by the city of Milan, the province of Milan and the Lombardy region.
