8-10 March. Milan celebrates cartoons, movies and video games.
Comics and cartoon fans will flock to the Rho trade fair grounds this weekend for the 25th edition of the annual Cartoomics saloon.
Milan’s Rho trade fair grounds will dedicate 45,000 mq in three pavilions to games, shows and pure entertainment for fans of the genre.
Specific areas of the festival will be dedicated to gaming and tech, cosplay, sci-fi, zombie horror, tattoomix and to Italy’s favourite sport, football, in all its declensions.
Cosplay fans will have a huge stage for their performance, with free changing-rooms and lockers. And anyone arriving already in costume at the gates on Friday will enjoy free entry – but first read the notes about what play weapons are allowed in the festival.
Over 300 well-known personalities from the world of gaming and cartoons will be special guests at Cartoomics this year.
The full entry price is €14, but there are a series of offers for students, under-12s, students, family groups and two-or three-day passes. The fair grounds are served by M1 line Fieramilano station and train lines S5 and S6, as well as ample car parking.
