Milan hosts men’s world volleyball championships

21-23 Sept. Two matches each day.

Milan will host the second round of the FIVP Volleyball Men’s World Championships on the weekend of 21 to 23 September, with six matches played in the Mediolanum Forum in Assago.

Italy’s national team came well placed out of the first round with five wins out of five matches, 15 sets won and only two lost.

The matches this weekend are:

Friday 21 September at 17.00: Netherlands – Russia
Friday 21 September at 21.15: Italy – Finland
Saturday 22 September at 17.00: Netherlands – Finland
Saturday 22 September at 21.15: Italy – Russia
Sunday 23 September at 17.00: Russia – Finland
Sunday 23 September at 21.15: Italy – Netherlands

The next step will see winners from this second round playing off in Turin from 26 September. Schedules, updated results and videos are available on the FIVB website.

Tickets at the Mediolanum Forum cost from €15 to €50 (plus booking fee), and are valid for both matches on the day chosen. They are available on the Mediolanum website or by phone from the TicketOne call centre on 892101.
