6-11 May. Ten Israeli films offer 360-degree panorama.
The festival of New Israeli Cinema in Milan, running from Friday 6 until Wednesday 11 May, attempts to provide a wide panorama of styles and subjects selected from leading recent releases.
Three comedies reflect the current situation in Israel, while three dramas deal with questions of religion and education. Three documentaries on current affairs and an animation movie on The Ghetto of Venice, 500 Years of Life round off the programme.
Several short films and animations produced by the students of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design will also be screened.
