Milan to take part in “Night of the Museums”

Museums open on Saturday 21 May until midnight.

The 12th edition of the Night of the Museums will give a chance to spend an evening in Milan’s temples of culture, generally at a special price of only €1 or even free.

Promoted by UNESCO and the council of Europe, the popular initiative sees museums and galleries across the continent open mostly from 20.00 to 24.00.

All of Milan’s municipal museums will be taking part again this year. Additionally, visitors will be welcome at the Galleria Campari (entry free from 19.00), with an exhibit of the experimental work of photographer Barbara Probst, and the city’s prestigious Pinacoteca di Brera (18.40 to 22.15).

In nearby Monza, a special treat will be the opening of the Cappella Espiatoria from 20.00 to 23.00.
