The seventh edition of Milano Golosa – Delicious Milan festival opens on 13 October in the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Via G. B. Piranesi 14, to the delight of foodies coming from all over Italy.
Over 200 exhibitors will offer tastings, workshops, show cooking and talks, centred around the excellence of foods produced in Lombardy.
Many of the carefully selected exhibitors are small and medium-sized operators, often family concerns, using zero-kilometre ingredients to create dishes with time-tested traditional recipes.
And there are also mysterious, little-known specialities to discover, like the biroldo sausages and bazzone ham from Tuscany’s Garfagnana region, or volcanic cheese, or the red aubergines from Rotonda in the Pollino National Park.
The Palazzo del Ghiaccio, near Porta Vittoria, will be open from 12.00 to 20.30 on 13 October, 10.00 to 20.30 on 14 October and 10.00 to 17.00 on 15 October. Entry €12 for adults, €5 for under-12s, free for under-6s, discounts for on-line ticketing.
