10 films until 7 September.
Milan’s Spazio Oberdan, the Lombardy regional government’s cultural centre on Viale Vittoria Veneto, presents a retrospective of eleven films by American director and screenwriter David Lynch to mark his return to the director’s chair with a new Twin Peaks series next year, after ten years of silence.
The collection includes such box-office successes as Mulholland Drive, Dune and The Elephant Man, from his breakthrough success, Eraserhead (1976), to his most recent release, Inland Empire (2006).
A total of 19 screenings, including repeats of some of the more popular movies, will provide a chance to catch films at various times of day, ranging from 15.00 to 21.00, in line with the Oberdan centre’s policy of providing cultural opportunities for people with different family and working timetables.
Entrance costs €7, or €4.50 to €5.50 for holders of the annual membership card. The full programme of the screenings is on the Spazio Oberdan website.
