Milan’s summer open-air cinema returns

4 June-12 Sept. Open-air cinema opens in four Milan locations.

The popular summer programme of open-air screenings, AriAnteo, launched on 4 June with a packed summer programme, ending on 12 September.

Movie fans can get their fix in four locations: the Royal Palace courtyard, the Tre Torre square at City Life (from 7 June), the Wisteria cloister of the UmanitAria in Via Santa Barbara (from 13 June), and special, silent screenings with the soundtrack in wi-fi headphones at the Chiostro dell’Incoronata in Via Milazzo (from 1 July).

On several nights throughout the summer, parents who would like to enjoy a film together in the evenings, even until late, can book kids into the “Spazio Piccoli”.

On four evenings in July, a film will share a programme with a live concert: one of Sardinian polyphonic folk music, one of traditional music from Liguria, and two with ethnic music from India.

Entry costs €7.50 with various concessions; a season ticket for 10 films costs 39.

The entire summer programme is available on the Spazio Cinema website.
